Our Commitment to Sustainability
What goes into a sustainable arrangement
(and what we deliberately leave out)
Conscious from the inside out
Ditching the planet-wasting plastics. We steer clear of industry-standard plastic gerbera straws and supports.
Instead, we secure our stems with 100% biodegradable jute twine and recyclable paper support tubes.
Eco-friendly bases & vessels
Rethinking the foundations. We choose to step away from traditional petroleum-based floral foam. For our boxed designs, we use a 100% natural, biodegradable medium made from wool and basalt.
Our arrangements are housed in recyclable card pots, or glass and ceramic vessels designed to be treasured forever.
Zero-waste studio practices
Closing the loop. Every single leaf and stem offcut from our design process is 100% composted back into the soil.
Ribbon scraps go to local playcentres, and we even curate a weekly 'Mystery Bouquet' to ensure no beautiful leftover bloom goes to waste.
Sourced local, delivered green
Low-emission love. We actively source our blooms from local Canterbury growers where possible to cut down on travel emissions.
When it's time to deliver, we use our 100% electric vehicle for central urban routes to ensure zero emissions, and a highly efficient small petrol car for longer trips to minimise fuel consumption.
No flower left behind
Short and sweet. We refuse to let beauty go to waste. While some florists discard short-stemmed flowers, we intentionally save and transform them into gorgeous, pocket-sized arrangements.
They're the perfect budget-friendly way to bring a little extra joy into your space without the footprint.
